It was convenient because I could pay (including tip) with a card on the website. I had a private lesson in Santa Monica at 10 am on April 9. The advantages of Offshore Vibe School are not only the convenient reservation system, but also the easy parking, easy access to the ocean, and the professional instructors who help those who want to surf, making it easy to start surfing. Juan is the founder and instructor of offshore vibe surfing school. Juan is a very professional and easy-to-communicate instructor. He started the lesson by doing a level test, correcting my takeoff posture, and checking whether I was goofy or regular. He checked my basic posture thoroughly. We went into the ocean together and tried the corrected takeoff posture. Juan tested my level again while waiting for the wave to come to see how big a wave I could ride. I paddle straight and then turn. And I’m still confused about whether I should do the last strong paddle at the right time. Juan observed these habits of mine accurately and gave me appropriate feedback. The first few times I got to surf with Juan's help, and the rest I was able to do on my own. Juan is the best instructor I've ever seen. The reason is that each person has their own level and style, and he understands that exactly, gives proper feedback, and makes you feel the joy and accomplishment of surfing, and eventually helps you do it on your own. I still lack the ability to see waves, but I'm sure that with Juan's lessons, I'll eventually enjoy surfing more and get better at it. I live near Santa Monica, so Santa Monica is one of my favorite surf spots. I'd love to go surfing with Juan again.
